Hey everyone!
In this thread I am going to go over a few things that are on the agenda or in the works going forward for the great Alliance of Ignium. This will give you guys the chance to see what is happening, and you can post your suggestions so the council/executives can get ideas! We have some great things planned for this awesome guild, and this post is definitely only the beginning of many more ideas to come.
The first thing I want to talk about is the Knight/Squire Program. This program would essentially allow new players to be assigned a Knight to help them level up effectively and learn the game. As a relatively new player, I am very familiar with how annoying and confusing the beginning stages of the game can be. I most likely would have given up the game long ago if I hadn't been able to bug the crap out of Kirithian with seemingly obvious questions. On top of answering questions from their Squires, the Knights would also be able to effectively power-level the newer players if that's what they want to do, and help them out whenever they are struggling with a particular area or dungeon. Squires would have a singular Knight assigned to them, but knights can have multiple squires if they want to. The purpose of this program would essentially be to better structure all the power leveling and help, which veteran players are already offering us newbies. It would also give newer players who may be lost but not sure who to ask an easy link to someone who can help them. Players will not be forced to be a Knight or Squire, and can get out of it at any point in time as it is mostly just a way to more effectively channel all that sweet sweet exp to the newer players. Once a player has chosen to be a Knight or a Squire, they can either pick a partner or be assigned one based on several points including but not limited to: level, priorities(PvP, Crafting/professions, PvE/Power-leveling), and personalities. This is still an idea and work in progress, so please reply with your suggestions and comments.
The next thing I want to talk about is, of course, the Haven World fundraising! As most of you know, we are currently saving up for our own haven world! Haven worlds are extremely expensive, and our goal is upwards of 4 million kamas. That being said, after only a week or so of fund raising we are already at 1,560,000 kamas as of today! If you don't know how to donate, just go to the guild bank located at your nation's outpost and deposit kamas into the giant lock on the wall called the guild chest. Any hard earned kamas you generously donate will go directly to the haven world! If you are looking for ways to earn money (whether for fund raising or just on your own) Ecashiet, Gauken, Miya, Kirithian, Megabyte, and really any of the other experienced members will be more than happy to give you tips and prices for the market. I also will probably be collecting their input soon and putting together a money-making guide on the guides section of the forum, or just asking one of them to do it.
Third on the list is guild points and guild bonuses. For those who are not familiar with how guild points work, you get 2 guild points for every battle you complete with a teammate who is part of the guild and 15 guild points each time you complete a daily guild quest. The guild quests are located on the left-hand tab of the guild window (press G) and are very simple. These guild points add up very quickly and help to get new bonuses that all of us can benefit from! Guild points can be spent by the council to unlock new upgrades including levels for the guild, new guild chests, and small stat bonuses. Everyone loves bonuses, so make sure you party up and do those guild quests! On top of that, earning guild points will increase your guild rank and grant you access to awesome stuff such as the guild chest (currently full of all the keys you could ever dream of) and eventually our haven world.
Last but definitely not least on the list is the guild website. Zanaj (Ecashiet) and myself are currently working on designing and publishing a website for the guild. This site would be publicly accessible, and would give our guild a stronger presence and more official image. This is not an easy task, and any help anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated (especially in the area of art and graphic design). So message me in game or email me at nelligan81@gmail.com if you are interested or would like more details.
Well that's about all I have for now! Stay updated for more information, keep being awesome, and Hail to the Alliance of Ignium!
